EVENT INFORMATION
REGISTRATION HAS BEEN SUSPENDED
Dear students, parents, and teachers:
Due to continued COVID-19 issues and an unavailable venue, sadly, it has been decided by the Musicfest Northwest Board of Trustees to again call off our traditional festival for 2021 and will be halting registrations effective today. Refunds will soon be issued to those who have already registered and paid.
In lieu of the traditional festival, the Musicfest Board of Trustees is excited to be providing a series of Master Classes for all divisions but Organ from the week of May 10 thru the 14th. We shall be using as many of our 2021 Festival Adjudicators as possible. We feel this will give teacher nominated students an enriching and educational experience this spring in lieu of the festival.
Please know that the Board of Trustees is hard at work planning, developing, and designing this unique form of musical education experience that will still feature the high level of insight and instruction from professional musicians that you have come to know and expect from Musicfest Northwest.
While the festival decision is disappointing, we want to reassure everyone that all of us here at Musicfest Northwest remain steadfastly committed to celebrating young musicians and their art in a safe, responsible way. Please stay tuned to our website www.musicfestnorthwest.org and Facebook for additional announcements for the Master Class details coming soon!
Sincerely,
James Ennis
President, Board of Trustees
Musicfest Northwest
We are constantly monitoring the situation and may have to include further safety measures. Please watch our Website and Social Media pages for further updates. The Board of Trustees realize that you/we may go through the registration process again only to have the in person festival cancelled (we hope not.) The Board is looking for possible other options if this was to happen for 2021. Please bare with us and the process, thank you.
