Who Qualifies
Entry is open to amateurs only and who reside in North America. "Amateur", being one whose principal income is not derived from the provision of musical services. This condition does not apply to bona fide students of music who teach or perform for the purpose of applying money earned to further their musical education.

Prizes and Awards


A $15.00 Administration Fee will be applied per class registered. A $50.00 late fee will be applied to registrations received January 16th or later and will be considered only up to 7 days after the registration deadline, if there is still room in the class.

ONLY Credit Card payments will be accepted. Please DO NOT select the payment by cheque method.


Be sure to read the General Rules and Regulations, as these have been updated for 2024.



Before proceeding to enroll in a festival class, be sure to have the following information on hand:

  • (If applicable) The name, email address and phone number of the teacher or coach
  • Enter the titles of selections exactly as listed on your music, including the Opus, Key, BWV, K, or KV numbers, if applicable. This information must be complete and with the correct spelling. List the details in the following order, e.g.:
  1. Sonata No. 2 in F Major, Op. 99, 3rd mvt.
  2. Polonaise in D minor, BWV Anh. 128
  3. Concerto in G Major, K453, 1st mvt.
  • The composer’s name (first initials and last name e.g. JS Bach, WA Mozart)
  • Be sure that you have timed the length of each selection. Round up to the nearest minute. (E.g. 4 minutes and 53 seconds should be entered as 5)
  • For entries with more than one performer, the full names and, for classes that have age restrictions, age as of December 31st, 2023 of each performer
  • Credit Card Payment: the card number, security code, expiration date, cardholder name, and billing address.


Please DO NOT use:

  • Any repertoire selection listed as TBA (To Be Announced) or the equivalent will be rejected.
  • All CAPITAL LETTERS or all small letters when filling out the registration form.
  • DO NOT use a smartphone or iPad to register. It is best to use a desktop computer, and if you are using a Mac computer, use Firefox or Chrome (not Safari) when creating your account or registering.


All information on the registration form will appear in the Schedule and Programme. Contact information will be used for all communication between the Festival and the participants. Names of participants will be used for the distribution of certificates. Make sure it is complete and spelled correctly. Registration information can be corrected online until the registration close deadline. Read the Syllabi carefully. Entries in the wrong class are subject to disqualification from competition.


Please note: Unless specific class requirements state otherwise, repertoire must be stated at the time of registration. Movements must be specified in pieces that require one or more movements. Registrations will not be accepted if incomplete. Once registrations have closed, corrections will only be accepted until January 30th, and must be accompanied by a $50.00 change fee, after which time no changes will be accepted.
